Two lovers. One affair…Fed up with her husband’s injury from the Great War, Lady Chatterley’s eyes land on the charming gamekeeper, Oliver Mellors. And when their secret affair leads to uncontrollable sensations, Chatterley knows there is no going back.
In true Romeo and Juliet style, society will never accept a pairing of such stark class differences. Their love will remain tainted and torn unless Lady Chatterley and Mr Mellors can weave new strings of fate…
Once banned in several countries, ‘Lady Chatterley’s Lover’ was adapted into a Netflix film in 2022, starring ´The Crown´’s Emma Corrin. It is perfect for fans of Shonda Rhimes’ Emmy-nominated ‘Bridgerton’.
D. H. Lawrence (1885-1930) was an English writer, novelist, and poet. Celebrated for articulating the link between sexual emotion, modernity and industrialisation, his work spans the widely censored ‘Sons and Lovers’, ‘Women in Love’, and ‘Lady Chatterley’s Lover’.
